Hi I’m Matt. As I’m sure many of you already know, I’m a personal trainer. I specialise in Golf Fitness, Weight Loss and Injury Rehabilitation. I qualified as a personal trainer in 2011 and I am currently based at Cottesmore Golf Club (near Gatwick in West Sussex). In my free time I obviously enjoy golf and the gym but also running.
I have had the opportunity to work with a range of individuals, male and female, from the ages of 8 to 78 years old. Past and present golfers I have worked with include Lingfield Golf College, Thames Valley U18 Regional Squad, England U18 and U16 players and Sussex and Surrey players from U14 to U18’s. The list goes on to include PGA pro’s, England golfer Marco Penge, many amateur golfers from +hcp to non-handicapped/beginner golfers. I have also been lucky enough to meet and learn from many great people working within the golf industry, including Mark Bull and Stewart Corstorphine (Biomechanists), Micheal Dalgleish (Physiotherapist) and Dr. Jon Pates (Psychologist). I have also worked alongside and learnt from many golf coaches too.
